Promoting Low Carbon Diet

A low carbon diet is an eco-friendly diet consisting of foods that leave a minimal carbon footprint. The goal of the diet is to reduce the total greenhouse gas emissions produced by the food of which a person eats.

Salad Atelier is committed to venture into No Beef Diet Type, removing all red meat in the menu in near future. We can contribute to reducing the carbon emission rate from 3.3 tons to 1.9 tons per person by just eating our salad.

Eco Packaging

Salad Atelier is practicing the 3R we are familiar with: Recycle, Reduce, Reuse.

Since 2017, we have stopped offering plastic straw to all beverages storewide. We also aim to reduce plastic usage by packing our meals using food-grade paper packaging and carrier bags; Stainless steel cutleries are provided for dine-in usage. To promote green packaging further, our RM1 off bill initiative is always on for customers who purchase our salad with own containers.

Source Locally

The grass is not necessarily greener on the other side. 64% of our salad base and 52% of toppings are sourced locally from highland farmers to maximize the freshness and preserve the crops nutrient content upon serving to our customers.

The Less Process The Better

Eating fresh produce in its original form is the friendliest way to the environment as they do not need to go through food processing in the factories that emit carbon by production.
